What Is an Unhosted Wallet?
Wallets can be hardware or software and are used to store, hold or transfer virtual currencies.
Unlike custodial wallets, unhosted wallets are the ones where the owner has complete control over their private key. In the Bitcoin industry, unhosted wallets are usually called non-custodial wallets, self-custodial wallets, or just wallets.
