Successes of 2025: 21 Analytics

28 Nov, 2025

As 2025 comes to an end, we’re reflecting on a year defined by innovation, growth, and meaningful collaboration across the global crypto compliance landscape. From product developments and ecosystem partnerships to an expanding customer base and a growing international team, 21 Analytics continued to push boundaries while staying firmly aligned with the evolving needs of regulators, VASPs, and financial institutions worldwide.

In this year-in-review, we take a closer look at the highlights that shaped 2025 — the technology breakthroughs, the industry contributions, the global connections, and the people who made it all possible.

Once Again, We Were Technology Leaders

In 2024, we saw the release of the AOPP Portal, which proved to be a game-changer for our customers and their customers alike. Building on the success of the AOPP Portal, we extended AOPP support to multiple wallets this year, including TronLink and Phantom. Currently, AOPP supports over 540 wallets, with this number only increasing.

21 Travel Rule Updates

21 Travel Rule received various updates to stay current with global Travel Rule requirements and further streamline processes for VASPs and their customers.

As always, each new release ensures compliance with the FATF Travel Rule. Updates included:

  • Native integration with 4 new wallet risk providers: Crystal Intelligence, Global Ledger, Beosin and Merkle Science. This results in easier access to information when reviewing Travel Rule data for better risk assessment.

  • For transactions with not-ready VASPs, the encrypted email has been enhanced and now supports Legal Persons.

  • Counterparty VASPs labelling and management improvements. Counterparty VASPs may now fall into one of three statuses: New (Untrusted), Trusted and Blocked. This distinction clarifies which VASPs have been auto-discovered (with an untrusted status) and require due diligence processes before transactions can be received from them.

We Actively Contributed to the Ecosystem through Various Collaborations

A highlight for 2025 has been our close collaboration with TRUST. We have been working tirelessly with the TRUST team to solve interoperability challenges while ensuring access to the world’s top exchanges, including Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, and others.

Building on the TRUST collaboration, the OpenVASP Association's IVMS Validator now supports both TRP and TRUST's variations of IVMS 101, ensuring VASPs can reliably validate and exchange IVMS 101–compliant data.

This feat was powered by the 21 Analytics team, who developed and updated the tool. By supporting both variations, the IVMS Validator enhances interoperability across different Travel Rule solutions and reduces implementation friction for developers.

The 21 Analytics Team was also present at key industry events worldwide, spanning the UK, Switzerland, Spain, Brazil, and many other locations. Each stop offered fresh insights, new connections with top industry contributors, and exciting opportunities to share our work with an international audience.

Our Customer and Partner Base Grew

Our team secured numerous new customers throughout the year, both locally and internationally,  including Tangany, while continuing to ensure the satisfaction and ongoing support of long-standing clients.

We also established several outstanding partnerships, further strengthening our position in the ecosystem. Building on previous years, even more customers chose to engage with our products and services, recognising the value and reliability we deliver.

At the same time, we expanded our global partnership network to include Türkiye, Canada, Dubai, and the US. These developments underscore our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and fostering long-lasting, collaborative relationships worldwide.

Our Team Grew in Size and Experience

As 21 Analytics continues to seek top talent worldwide, our team primarily operates remotely; yet, collaboration remains at the heart of how we work. This year, our growing team met in Belgrade, Serbia, and Lisbon, Portugal, for co-working sessions that strengthened alignment and sparked new ideas.

Alongside this growth, team members have been actively upskilling through specialised courses, ensuring we stay sharp, innovative, and ready to meet the evolving needs of our industry.

2025 has been a truly successful year for us, and as it draws to a close, we are left with a strong sense of pride in what we have achieved and excitement at what 2026 has in store.
